On behalf of the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, welcome to our Golf Operations website, www.cityoflongbeachgolf.com. The purpose of this website is to keep you – our residents and customers – up to date on the happenings on or at our five great golf courses.

Golf courses are unique, as both recreational facilities and park open spaces, and lend an important scenic value to the community. In today's society, leisure time has increased dramatically with our rising standard of living. The general public has more time on their hands with shorter working hours, shift-work, more holidays and longer vacation periods. With this increase in leisure, there is a greater need than ever before to provide better and more golf course areas and facilities.

Beginning on January 21, 2008, the Long Beach golf reservation system began an online system to make advanced tee time reservation for City of Long Beach golf courses. The Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine teamed with the City’s golf course operator, American Golf Corporation to develop the new system.

The new online system, available here allows tee time reservations up to eight days in advance from the convenience of home or work on a secure web server. Instead of getting busy signals or waiting on hold, golfers can access tee times at all five Long Beach courses through this service.
