Junior Golf News

Linksters2_400x200The Long Beach Junior Golf Association has announced the two Little Linksters classes for 2010. The first will be July 12-16, and the second will be July 19-23, and both will be conducted at Heartwell Park GC.

The classes are for beginning golfers age 8-12, who do not own their own clubs. Classes cost $85 and are limited to the first 40 golfers to sign up on the attached entry form .  Questions may be directed to LBJGA at (562) 570-1271.

LBJGA Is also hosting their annual D-Day tournament at Heartwell on Saturday,  June 5th, in a 1:00 PM shotgun.  The D-Day tournament is a fun event where the course is set up as tough as possible, and is all about having fun and supporting the LB Junior Golf Association and its members.The cost to play is $40 per person, which includes golf, dinner, tee prizes and an auction. Hole sponsorship are also available. You may enter or sign up for a hole sponsorship here or call (562) 570-1271 for more information.
