Grand Dame Gets a Facelift

Rec-park-18-125_400x200The 80+ year old Clubhouse at Recreation Park Golf Course – a City Historical Landmark, which was the only City-owned park structure to survive the 1933 earthquake – is currently in the process of receiving a major "facelift".

Through capital improvement funds taken from greens fees and put back into the golf courses, the Clubhouse at Big Rec is being repainted (both inside and out), receiving new carpeting throughout the building, and the restrooms are being renovated.

The City and American Golf beg your patience as we make this building prettier and more functional.
