Three New Golf Hall of Fame Members Named

HFamePlaque_400x200The Long Beach Golf Hall of Fame has three new members, who will be honored and inducted at the culmination of the Long Beach Golf Festival, at approximately 2:00 PM, on Sunday, July 31 at the conclusion of the Long Beach Open.

John Tate (a fine junior player at Wilson HS in the late 40s who went on to register over 50 golf-related patents, including the popular Magnamark ball marker and divot tools that attached to a hat or pocket), Steve Cook (another Wilson HS product who also played at LBCC and Long Beach State, played professionally and has been a golf administrator for many years) and Kathy Eaton (a volunteer with the Long Beach Golf Festival and LBO Pro Am Director for the past 10 years) bring the total number of inductees up to 62.
